Canada's Employment Insurance program provides economic security for Canadians when they need it most. Some need help because they have lost their jobs through no fault of their own. Others need extra support because they left the workforce to raise children or care for a loved one.
In all cases, it will be necessary to determine the type of service that corresponds to your situation:

When your employment insurance benefit is cut, you can contact a Service Canada agent to find out the reasons for this situation and assess whether action is necessary by calling 1-800-808-6352.
