Applications for Canada Volunteer Awards now Open
January 19, 2022
Whether Canadians volunteer out of a desire to contribute to their communities, to use their skills and experience, or because they have been personally affected by a cause, their impact is profound.
Over the past two years, as Canadians have faced an unprecedented pandemic, it has never been more important for communities to come together and support each other. The efforts of individuals, organizations and businesses across the country has been truly incredible.
The Canada’s Volunteer Awards provide us with an opportunity to recognize the efforts of those who give their time so generously. If you know a volunteer, a young person, social enterprise, a business or a not-for-profit organization that is making a difference in your community, show your appreciation by nominating them for Canada’s Volunteer Awards today.
Canada's Volunteer Awards recognize the significant contributions of individuals, businesses and not-for-profit organizations from across the country. It doesn’t end there! Recipients will also have a chance to give back; regional award recipients are eligible to identify a not-for-profit organization to receive a $5,000 grant. The national award recipient is eligible to identify a not-for-profit organization to receive a $10,000 grant.
For more information and to submit a nomination, visit Canada.ca/volunteer-awards.
The call for nominations is open until March 4, 2022!
