Chris Waters has been a true force for good in our community. He has served as the Dean of Windsor Law for over six years and volunteered this spring with the Canadian Red Cross to deliver emergency flood relief to the people of Northern Ontario.

 

Markie Tuckett is a trailblazer and inspiration for women across Windsor-Essex. As the owner of Timber + Plumb Kitchens and Cabinetry, she developed a program to financially support and mentor local small businesses in Windsor-Essex on top of her philanthropy work with Hiatus House.

 

Irene Davis has been an incredible ambassador for strengthening historical knowledge in our community. As President of the Essex County Black Historical Research Society, she has successfully uplifted the rich history and contributions people of African Descent have made in Windsor-Essex.

 

Kristi Koutros is a healthcare hero. She worked in long-term care while studying as a full-time student at the University of Windsor during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. She provided gifts to more than 30 LTC residents with her own money to brighten their Christmas holiday.
