HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Pin Awards

Yesterday - I was honoured to present HM Queen Elizabeth II Platinum Jubilee Pin awards to our next class of Windsor-Tecumseh recipients who have demonstrated dedication to community and service above self:
- Dan MacDonald
- Guan Singh Chandan
- Marlene Phillips
Dan MacDonald has been a champion for Windsor—Tecumseh. As host of the Dan MacDonald Show on AM800 CKLW - he has given a voice to countless residents on critical issues while connecting and advocating for our community through his important work.
Guan Singh Chandan has been there for those in our community who need it most. At the Windsor Gurdwara, he spearheaded various initiatives rooted including the delivery of takeout meals and organizing of food drives for the Windsor Downtown Mission - at the height of the pandemic.
Marlene Phillips has devoted her time to serving Windsor-Tecumseh through the Optimist Club of Riverside since 1994. Through her work in various international positions - Marlene has been a tireless advocate for youth and the betterment of our community.
